Life Guard Games

The Lifeguard Games held in Coronado Sunday had individuals and teams competing in contests that demonstrated expertise in the skills most needed in their field: towing a victim, a 50-yard crawl with rescue tube, 10-pound brick carry and more. The event was sponsored by American Red Cross.

Sand Castles!

The annual Sand Castle Competition in Imperial Beach is just around the corner in August, here are some updates and what to expect and when to hit the beach in IB for some impressive specticales:

People on Coronado's Beach were among the few to actually see the sun this weekend. So it begs to be asked "What's up with this weather?!"
